Temple History Udaipur
Karni Mata Temple in Udaipur was built by Maharana Karan Singh between 1620 and 1628, while he executed the development of the residential areas in Machla Magra. The temple was not very popular until 1997, and was visited by very few people. It was only after the redevelopment project undertaken by the Mansapurna Karni Mata Development Committee in 1997, that devotees started flooding the temple premises in thousands. Today, the temple is fully equipped with easily accessible staircases and ropeways, along with multiple resting places for the convenience of the followers and devotees of Karni Mata.

The Temple is open for devotees from 4:00 in the morning till 7:30 in the evening. Timings for Darshan of Mansapurna Karni Mata are 4:30 AM till 7:00 AM and then from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Evening Darshan timings of Karni Mata at the Udaipur temple are between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM.
